    FAQ

    Frequently asked questions

Why choose a catamaran over a classic cruiser?

Three key advantages. Stability: two hulls = near-zero roll, ideal for people sensitive to seasickness. Space: XXL front deck, indoor lounge, 3 to 5 cabins depending on model. Conviviality: the whole group can dine around a single table, vs 6-8 max on a classic cruiser.

What's the price of a catamaran day?

For a 40-44 foot catamaran (10-14 pax): €1,100 to €1,800 per day depending on season. For a 50+ foot (14-20 pax): €2,500 to €4,500/day. Skipper mandatory (+€250/day for catamarans), fuel additional (€120-200/day).

Can we sleep on board a catamaran?

Yes, that's one of their key strengths. 3 to 5 double cabins with private bathrooms per model. Ideal for an extended weekend in Porquerolles or 2 nights at Pampelonne. Overnight anchoring allowed at Canoubiers Bay or the Embiez. Overnight billed €350-700.

Are catamarans slower than motor boats?

Yes, cruising speed 8-12 knots (vs 18-25 for a motor cruiser). Pampelonne takes 50 min instead of 35 min. On the other hand, lower consumption (less fuel on return) and more comfortable trip. Prefer a catamaran if you prioritise comfort over speed.
