    1. Role of Daily Boat Rental

    Daily Boat Rental is a professional boat rental agency based in Sainte-Maxime, offering direct boat rental services on the French Riviera. All rentals are operated directly by our qualified and insured team.

    These Terms of Service apply to all bookings made through our website, including:

    • Half-day and full-day boat rentals from Sainte-Maxime
    • Skippered boat hire (private charters)
    • Coastal excursions and island trips
    • Event and group boat rentals

    Any booking implies full acceptance of these Terms of Service.

    2. Booking and confirmation

    Each service must be booked via the website, by phone, or by email. A booking is considered confirmed after:

    • Written confirmation by email with a trip summary
    • Full payment or agreed deposit

    3. Pricing

    Prices are quoted in euros and include all applicable taxes. They vary depending on distance, boat type, number of passengers, and season (peak/off-peak). Prices displayed on the website are indicative — a personalised quote is provided for each request.

    Daily Boat Rental reserves the right to modify its prices. The applicable prices are those in effect at the time of booking confirmation.

    4. Payment terms

    • Half-day and full-day rentals: full payment at booking
    • Private charters: 50% at booking, balance on the day of departure
    • Accepted payment methods: credit/debit card, bank transfer, cash on board

    5. Cancellation and refunds

    Cancellation by the client more than 48 hours before departure: full refund. Cancellation between 24 and 48 hours: 50% refund. Cancellation less than 24 hours: no refund, except in cases of force majeure.

    If Daily Boat Rental cancels a trip due to weather or safety reasons, the client receives a full refund or is offered an alternative date.

    6. Passenger obligations

    The passenger agrees to:

    • Arrive on time at the agreed boarding point
    • Follow all safety instructions given by the captain
    • Wear a life jacket when requested by the crew
    • Disclose any medical condition that may affect the crossing
    • Not bring dangerous or illegal goods on board

    7. Safety and weather conditions

    Daily Boat Rental reserves the right to cancel or modify a trip in the event of adverse weather conditions (strong winds, rough seas, reduced visibility). Passenger safety is the absolute priority. The captain is the sole judge of whether it is safe to sail.

    8. Liability

    Daily Boat Rental holds professional liability insurance covering all boat rental operations.Daily Boat Rental cannot be held responsible for the execution of the transport service, delays caused by weather conditions, maritime authorities, or any other event of force majeure.

    9. Luggage and personal belongings

    Each passenger may bring one reasonable piece of luggage (carry-on suitcase + bag). Oversized luggage must be declared at the time of booking.Daily Boat Rental cannot be held liable for loss or damage to personal belongings except in cases of proven crew negligence.

    10. Governing law

    These Terms of Service are governed by French law. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in the district of Daily Boat Rental's registered office.
